West Glamorgan Doorways - Video

“Hello and Welcome to West Glamorgan Doorways”

Doorways supports adults who have a learning disability.

Doorways helps people live on their own, with their Home support service.

We help people with such things as: -

Shopping, paying bill, sorting out money, understanding letters, reminders to take tablets, reminding people to attend health appointments.

“Generally what ever is needed to help people live successfully on their own”

We provide a skills assessment service this takes about ten weeks and shows the things that people are doing well for themselves and the things that people need further help and assistance with.

We provide a “Getting to know you” service, to prepare people for changes in their lives when they are moving to new accommodation with other people.
