Job Seeker's Charter
WISE will be:
Welcoming
- The staff will always be polite.
- If you have an appointment you will be seen on time.
- If you drop in you will be seen in an hour or you will be offered an appointment.
- If you phone you will be answered in 30 seconds.
Private
- Interviews will be in a private room.
- Your information is private.
Only staff will see it.
Helpful
- We will try to tell you all you want to know about work, about benefits and about us.
- You will be told the name of your employment consultant (case worker).
- You can see them by asking for an interview.
- They will keep you up to date about the search for work.
Listening to You
We are here to help you, so please tell us what you want. And please tell us if things go wrong.
We will listen to you at every stage:
- When you first meet us we want to know what you want.
- After you have worked somewhere we will ask what you thought of it and what you want to do next.
We may write to you asking how WISE has helped you
If things go wrong
We will try our best to be helpful, but this is what you should do if you have a complaint about a member of staff:
- First you should speak to the member of staff. The problem may be a misunderstanding.
- If this does not help you should speak to the Director of WISE. It would be best to write the complaint down if you can.
- If this does not fix the problem you can speak to the Management Committee.
- You can take somebody with you to help you.
- The complaint must be written down.
- The Committee will decide what to do and send you a letter in 4 days.
