What is WISE?
WISE stands for: Welsh Initiative for Supported Employment.
"Supported" means WISE will give you all the help you need to get and keep a job.
"Employment" means that WISE will be looking for a real job for you.
Getting to know you
At your first meeting at WISE you will meet your Employment Consultant who will help you find work. You will also meet the WISE Training Consultant whose job is to arrange your training in the workplace. They will talk to you in a friendly way and give you plenty of opportunity to tell them about :-
- work or training you may have done
- what you did at school or college
- what skills you have
- what kind of work interests you have
All this information helps them to build up a picture of you and what kind of work would best suit you.
